Fairytale Engagement Photos
You are going to love this Capitol engagement session. These two have a real life fairytale story, so they deserved fairytale engagement photos! I have loved getting to know Kelsey over at the last year after I first met her at her sister Emi‘s wedding. I have grown to love the Facer family and can’t wait to get to serve another sister!! Jake and Kelsey’s story started when they were in high school. They were in the same math and choir classes. They went on a school choir trip to Disneyland and that is where they first officially started dating. He even wears a bracelet that has the Disneyland coordinates on it! That sounds like a fairytale to me!
Disneyland Proposal
They kept in contact throughout Jake’s mission to Georgia and the very night he got home Kelsey took him to Institute with her. Everyone could tell they were in love with in months of him getting home and when Jake’s family went on a Disneyland vacation they set up a plan to take photos of the whole family in front of the castle. This place has so much meaning to the couple and when it was time to get a picture of Kelsey and Jake in front of the castle he turned to her and got down on one knee and offered her a glass slipper that said “Will you marry me?” and the most gorgeous ring. Kelsey was so excited to say yes to forever with Jake!!
Utah Capitol Engagements
The week of their engagements was a little bit windy and cold. They had the amazing idea to head to SLC for a Capitol Engagement session. I love the connection of this amazing building with their story because they had attended prom together in high school at the capitol. How cute is that? They picked out the most adorable outfits and they giggled together the entire shoot. I don’t think I’ve met two people more in love with each other. The way that they finish each other sentences and have so many inside jokes just proves to me that they are really best friends and will have the most amazing life together. So excited to shoot these guys wedding in August and get to see Emi and Dave and the new baby bump coming this fall. Enjoy!
