Every year, the fall fashion show reminds me why I love being a Logan Utah Event Photographer. Kylee has served on the board for the BTECH Fashion Program for almost a decade, and her passion for supporting students pours into every part of this event. The show always brings an incredible mix of excitement, nerves, teamwork, and creativity, and photographing it feels like being right in the middle of an artistic heartbeat.
The fall fashion show never disappoints. Energy runs high from the moment models slip into their first look. Students collaborate with local shops and businesses, and the partnerships create such a fun variety of styles. They spend weeks pulling outfits from Logan boutiques, planning the order of each look, and refining their styling choices. Watching them work brings me so much joy because you can see how proud they feel when the clothes finally hit the runway.

Their process is no joke. Students start by meeting with local stores to choose pieces that fit their vision. Then they style full outfits, schedule model fittings, adjust silhouettes, and finalize accessories. Right before the show begins, they team up with hair and makeup artists to bring the entire look to life. The transformation always blows me away, especially because the students handle so many moving parts with such confidence.
Between the boutique sets, the audience gets to see the students’ final projects. These aren’t simple assignments. They’re fully designed, hand-sewn, from-scratch garments created by the students themselves. Every piece reflects weeks of work, late nights, and so much passion. I love capturing the details, the stitching, the textures, and the pride on each student’s face as their model walks the runway.

The week of the show, Kylee also photographed several of the final projects in the fashion studio. That extra session gave the students clean, professional images they can add to portfolios, internship applications, and future career opportunities. Seeing their reactions to those portraits made my entire week.
