Analise came to me with a super clear vision, and I remember thinking, “Okay… let’s go for it.” I am SO glad I said yes because these images ended up feeling bold, artistic, and honestly kind of iconic.

We photographed the session right inside the dance studio using a simple paper roll backdrop, and somehow the simplicity made everything feel even more powerful. The movement, styling, posing, and energy carried the entire session.

One of my favorite things about this session was how intentional the creative direction felt from the beginning. Analise knew the vibe she wanted, and instead of overcomplicating the setup, we focused on strong posing, dramatic movement, and clean composition.

I also loved that we photographed everything right in Logan instead of traveling to a larger commercial studio in Salt Lake City. Northern Utah has so many talented creatives and businesses, and sessions like this prove you do not have to leave Cache Valley to create high-end, editorial-style content.

This shoot reminded me that sometimes the best thing you can say as a creative is simply, “Let’s try it.”
