Hi, Katelyn here to write a post on my own Denzil Stewart Family Mini Session. If you’re new here, Kylee took my pictures for the very first time when I was a senior in high school. Then again for my last senior dance. I started nannying for her & later became her marketing assistant (and still am). Before we knew it she was taking my engagements & shooting my wedding while she was 36 weeks pregnant. Bless her.
Now she captures my little family & the different phase of life we are in every year. Seeing the original pictures Kylee took of Cole and I to this last shoot at Denzil Stewart Park makes me emotional. Not only does she capture the love & joy we feel as a family every single time, she does so beautifully and gracefully. You would never know my 2 year-old was 20 minutes past bed time with a one track mind on the sucker in the car that I bribed her with. Somehow Kylee still got smiles out of Mila, as she always does!
Denzil Stewart park is the perfect location for mini sessions. You have a beautiful river, green fields, and thick trees for backdrop choices all within feet of each other. It gives such great variety which is perfect for mini sessions that only last about 20-30 min.
We love looking back at all our pictures from KAS and hanging large prints of them all over our house. They are beautiful & I never get sick of looking at them!
