Extended Family Pictures on Vacation at Bear Lake are our specialty! This sweet family made me so happy. Both of their parents have passed, but they get together as siblings each year anyway. You could absolutely FEEL the love these guys have for each other. I can only hope my five siblings will get together like these six siblings one day.
This session at Garden City Park was perfect. As always, we started on the boardwalk. This gives the sun a chance to lower while we get perfect shaded light. The textures of the boardwalk and the tall grass are my favorite. We got each individual family their gorgeous individual pictures, and then moved on to just the cousins. Each family had time to get a family shot, sibling shot and individual shots.
One the sun lowered, we moved towards the beach to get everyone on flat ground. We were able to get a gorgeous glowy sunny backdrop with the mountains and another with the trees.
Finally, after all the must have pictures were out of the way – we went to the water.
These pictures have become my favorite! We know we got THE shots so we can loosen up and have a little more fun. We got the grandkids holding hands and running, babies submerging themselves in the water and some more family and group shots.
It was the most perfect sunset, and dreamiest light. I love shooting extended family pictures in Bear Lake. The Best!
