Kelsey and Dustin chose to do bridals at the Utah State Capitol Building to show off her amazing dress. The staircase is the perfect place to see the long sheer train. I love how grand and classy bridals at the Capitol building are. If you live in or around Salt Lake, it’s a perfect location for bridals year round. We lucked out with gorgeous light on this warm June afternoon.
How I met Kelsey
I met Kelsey years ago when she was starting her journey in this industry. She had just graduated from high school! She was one of the very first photographers to shadow me on a shoot. Kelsey served a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When she returned, she asked to shadow again. She tagged along on a gorgeous bridal session in the Mantua Poppy fields. I have loved watching her business grow over the years! I am HONORED she asked me to photograph her bridals.
Kelsey and Dustin
Kelsey and Dustin are the perfect pair. I mean PERFECT! Kelsey is very detail oriented! As a perfectionist, she’s an amazing photographer! She cares about all the little details and Dustin cares about making her incredibly happy. He was the best dress fluffing groom I’ve EVER met. He took the time to make sure every crease was straight and every corner of the dress laid even. They met at work working with troubled teens! They both have HUGE hearts, and love to help others.
