Kylee Ann Brides and Sisters
So excited to share this Oak Hills Wedding Reception! I got to meet Kelsey last year at her sister Emi and Dave’s wedding! If you haven’t seen the blog, you have to check it out! It was a wonderful day and I just adore the Facer family. I met Kelsey and have gotten to follow her on Instagram over the last few months, and see her fall in love more and more with Jake! I can’t wait to serve them at their wedding this summer at the Salt Lake Temple!
High School Sweethearts
This love story starts over 4 years ago!! They went to high school together. They told me that they consider their first date being their choir trip when she was a Junior and he was a Senior. Their choir made the long trek to California to Disney Land! Talk about an amazing first date! That trip changed their relationship and friendship. They loved getting to experience high school together, including choir and dances and fun time with friends.
Time Spent Growin
Jake left for two years to serve a mission in Georgia! He loved his time there and he and Kelsey stayed in contact over that time! She spent her time working hard at hair school and recently graduated! (Check her out, she’s amazing!) When he returned a few months ago, they realized that they were both interested in dating each other. That quickly turned into being interested in getting married! Little did she know that he had a plan to make that dream come true!
Disney Land Proposal
Jake’s family planned a trip to Disneyland! If you remember, that’s where they went on their first date! They had such a fun week with family exploring the park! One of the days they were there, they arranged to have a family photo taken in front of the castle. Then they offered to take a photo of just the couple in front of castle and that is when Jake got down on one knee! Kelsey was so thrilled to get to say yes to her forever best friend at a place that was so important to them! Their family surprised them with some adorable bride and groom Mickey and Minnie ears! It was adorable!
Best Wedding Day
They were married at SLC Temple and it was the prettiest day! I loved getting to see all the Facers that I love! They had their Oak Hills Reception Center Wedding and it was beautiful! They had so many Disney touches and yummy food including churros and dole whip! I loved their coordinated Daddy Daughter dance so much! Congrats to these two! Can’t wait to see them at their cousin’s wedding coming up!
