Roots Floral Design reached out to me a few months ago to plan a styled shoot. At the time my May was looking pretty open and I agreed because her florals are amazing. I don’t normally do styled shoots anymore especially during busy season so I wanted to make this a real treat. The first vendor I invited was my go-to hair and make up girl, Tiffany Johnson. Not only is she an amazing hmua, but she makes my brides feel like a million bucks. Another vendor I had to have was Petals and Promises…the best dress store around. The Blush Dress they found for us was soooo incredible. SE Needham’s hooked us up with the perfect jewelry (AS ALWAYS).
At the last minute I invited my husband along with his drone and I’m so glad I did. This hike up to the Wind Caves about did me in. He stuck it out with me in the back…about a mile behind my bride, groom and florist. I’m pretty sure he really was with me because it was doing him in too. HAHA….I was NOT in my element. I love being outside, but I do not like that out of shape miserable feeling of death. The reason I dropped out of jog/walk class in college and never took PE in High School. LUCKILY the “easy” hike did get easier, and the views got more incredible as we climbed. IT WAS SO WORTH IT.
P.S. I chose the best models and florist because they all love to hike and weren’t mad at me (like I was at myself) for making us hike 7 miles for the shoot.
