We scheduled these Logan Utah family pictures over the weekend that it ended up being super wet and raining! We rescheduled to the day before Halloween and the weather was much better! It was nice to have a Halloween that wasn’t as cold! We took the family pictures at Green canyon in the morning! I have never shot family portraits in the morning at green canyon. The canyon looked gorgeous!! I definitely want to schedule more family pictures their for morning photoshoots! The fall leaves have gone and this location was still kind of green and the mountains looked really pretty! We even saw a few deer.

I loved this family’s outfit choices for their portrait photography session! They weren’t matching, but coordinating which is perfect. I loved that they were colorful since the location and background wasn’t as colorful due to us shooting at a more neutral location. I also thought that their clothing choices were super appropriate for the weather, which was a bit cold. Dressing for the weather is really important in these colder months! You will look cold in the pictures if you’re cold haha! The children will behave a lot better and provide happier faces if they’re dressed appropriately for the weather and not cold! Layering cardigans and sweaters photographs really well, too!

The three siblings got together for this photo session and I heard them say, mom will love this! When they took their sibling picture. It’s always fun to get together and take pictures with your adult siblings! It can be kind of crazy getting everyone’s schedule to align, but it’s worth it to have the end result, beautiful pictures that you and your mom will cherish!

The kids at this session were so cute and sweet. The grownups were too! One of the men told me I was the coolest photographer he knew! Whattt!!! I told him I was going to go write that in my journal haha! It turns out that if you are super crazy, loud and weird at a family photography session, you’re actually cool!
