San Francisco photographer
One of my favorite things about being a photographer is all the new connections I make! However, my all time favorite thing is reconnecting with friends from my past.
In the last decade, I have lived in a few different places and have collected a great group of people. I consider myself one lucky girl that photography has given me so many opportunities to reconnect with so many people that I love.
Our Background
Meagan and I worked together at a portrait studio in the Bay Area over 12 years ago! We had so much fun! There were many times that it was just the two of us in the studio together. I cherish all the conversations and the time we got to spend together. We worked with an awesome group of people and I will never forget all the fun!
We all went our separate ways over the years, but thank goodness for social media and the casual updates. I saw that Meagan got engaged on instagram and I was soo happy for her! Secretly, I wanted to take engagements for her, but also didn’t want to put her in a position to have to turn me down (something you have to be careful about as a photographer. When your friends and family get married, they don’t always want to hire you and might prefer another photographer’s work.) When I saw her sweet DM come in that she always wanted an excuse to hire me for pictures and she was so happy to have one, I just about cried.
The Location
Meagan and Paul are really outdoorsey so I knew that we would be taking pictures somewhere beautiful! They chose the redwoods in Muir Woods National Monument and I knew we were set for a beautiful session! Having experience as a San Francisco wedding photographer, I knew we would have the perfect backdrop for their engagement pictures in one of the most beautiful spots in the city!
The Outfits
Firstly, Meagan and Paul started off in a casual outfit that fit their personalities. They were comfortable and relaxed and we got a lot of great up close poses. Secondly, Meagen brought out the big guns with her navy gown. She trekked back up to the car and hiked back to our location in a sleek, figuring pleasing dress. She was absolutely stunning! The forest complemented her dress and we got some dramatic, romantic, beautiful shots!
I am so glad we were able to reconnect after twelve years! Although I live in Southern California now, I travel all over, especially California and would be anyone’s San Francisco Wedding Photographer.

Now clients who love the quality, service and unique style of Kylee Ann Photography, but have a limited budget can still receive many of the benefits that come from the Kylee Ann brand by using one of our associate photographers.
