November was such fun month for us! We started the month with Brody’s second birthday and ended with a trip home for Thanksgiving. In between we had several family outings and even a weekend getaway. We’re gettin’ the hang of this family of four thing and loving life.
WEEKEND GETAWAY
Winter is here in Cache Valley and we are already tired of being stuck in our warm house most of the week. It’s hard to bundle up two babies in below freezing weather. After a long week of being inside and Luke working, we decided to head to SLC for a little getaway. We started the night with a little hotel swimming because our kiddos love to swim. I was soo happy to fully enjoy the hot tub after 9 months of avoiding it. The next day we went to the aquarium and did a little shopping. Despite having the stomach flu (which we thought was heat exhaustion from the hot tub), we had so much fun!
ARCADE FUN
Brody loves the arcade. After work one day, we bundled up and headed out for a little family time!
THANKSGIVING
This Thanksgiving was a special one for my family because it was the last year for several years that we could all be together. Brooklyn is leaving to serve a LDS mission and Austin will be leaving right after her. It was so fun to introduce Piper to all my friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sister and dad!
Farewell
At the end of the weekend, we had Brooklyn’s farewell, farewell open house and setting apart.
