After 499 days in foster care (468 with this family), the Sweets adopted their little guy. A few weeks later I was able to take pictures of this cute family while I was in town for Thanksgiving. We met at the Capitol Building just in case we needed some extra coverage from the rain. The Capitol Building campus was beautiful. Leaf covered grounds, beautiful green gardens, trees and just a light sprinkle. I loved these cute kids and their adorable hats. The colors they chose were so bold and fun, especially against the Washington green and fall leaves! We were so lucky to only get a little rain, no muddy falls and nothin’ but smiles!
Their oldest, Willow, is turning eight years old next month and has chosen to be baptized. After we finished taking family photos, Willow changed and we took a few baptism portraits in her beautiful white dress.
