Ogden Temple
This Oak Hills Barn Wedding was a long time coming! To tell Madi and Jake’s story we have to go back quite a few years to a summer acting camp in their neighborhood when they were 13 and 14. They told me this was just like Camp Rock! They both decided to take part in this play and they were casted as lead players in the story. Madi was thrilled because she had a crush on Jake from the very beginning. Their characters were romantic interests in the play and he even proposed during the play. Madi couldn’t help thinking about what that what feel like if it were in real life. In the play he ACTUALLY got down on one knee to propose as well!
Grilled Cheese Truck
I shot Jake’s sister, Natalie’s wedding last fall just a little while after he got home from his mission. Madi and Jake knew each other from their younger years and she messaged him to welcome him home the SAME NIGHT as Natalie’s wedding day! We always joke about the fact that I took a headshot of Jake for a dating app just in case. Now that picture is Madi’s favorite photo of him. Fast forward a few months and they decided to get married!
Oak Hills Barn Wedding
Their wedding day was a warm Ogden day! They were married at Ogden LDS Temple. They had all their families and friends there with them to celebrate! I love getting to serve so many siblings of past couples and it’s the BEST compliment ever to be invited back! Since I already knew half of the group and things went soo easy. I love the Franc family!!! They had a fun luncheon in their backyard with a GRILLED CHEESE FOOD TRUCK! I lovedddd it. Their day was so relaxed and all about them and their people.
Snow Basin Bridals
Their reception was at the Oak Hills Barn and it was the perfect venue! They had an amazing staff and so much room for everyone to interact. The dance party was a blast. I’m pretty sure Madi and her friends knew every Cardi B song, word for word. A few weeks ahead of time we headed to Snow Basin for their bridals photos. It was magical. I love these two and am so thrilled they get to be married!
