Say hello to Natalie Porter—Preston High School senior, book lover, thrift queen, and all-around radiant soul. We had the best time capturing her senior photos in Preston, Idaho. Doing her session in the summer meant we got beautiful weather, golden light, and the prettiest natural backdrops.

Natalie’s long hair is absolutely stunning, and her style totally reflected her personality. She wanted photos that felt true to her: soft, joyful, and a little bit vintage. We even found a few tucked-away spots that gave us cozy, whimsical vibes that were perfect for her vibe.

She brought a few of her favorite books along, which made for fun, personal detail shots. We talked about what she’s currently reading, her favorite places to thrift shop, and all her plans for after graduation. Her calm, confident energy made her such a joy to work with.

Summer senior sessions are some of my favorites because there’s time to explore multiple locations, change outfits, and just be creative. With Natalie, we wandered through a few open fields, found a dreamy patch of wildflowers, and even got some shots near an old rustic fence line that totally gave off storybook vibes.
