Senior Photography Tips | Camden
Camden was visiting family here in cache valley and decided to get her senior pictures done while she was here which was brilliant! Cache valley was showing off with the gorgeous fall colors so it was the perfect timing! We took pictures in downtown Logan first and then went up into Logan Canyon to some of our favorite spots.
Camden is such a fun senior and wasn’t afraid to do fun unique poses to show off her cute personality!
Today I want to share some senior photography tips for you!
-
Bring several outfits! Bring a couple casual outfits like a blouse and jeans with cute shoes. Also bring a more fancy outfit like a suit or dress and even a fun outfit from your extracurricular activities. This could be your sports uniform, student council jacket or even a school t- shirt.
-
Don’t forget to accessorize. Bring any hats you love and don’t forget to add jewelry. Changing your jewelry for each outfit is a fun way to change things up. A lot of seniors like to bring props as well. You could bring a basketball, pom poms, golf clubs, your instrument or any other item that is a part of your high school career!
-
Communicate with your photographer! Tell her about your personality and the look and vibe you are going for in your senior photo session. Are you wanting trendy, fun, sporty senior pictures? Elegant, beautiful, and classy senior pictures? This info will help your photographer plan the best locations for you!
-
Plan your outfits according to each location. Once you and your photographer decide the locations you are going to use, think about which outfits will look best with the backgrounds you are using.
-
Prep mentally for your senior pictures! Hype yourself up and tell yourself positive things about yourself and body. Practice your smile and some poses in the mirror so you can see and feel what it looks like to be posing for senior photos.
-
You can also prep by making sure you are getting enough sleep, moisturizing your skin, and drinking enough water. Feeling good for senior pictures really does make a difference!
This is such a fun time for you! Make the most of your senior session and have fun with it!
