When I think of the words “Blueberry Hill”, it takes me back to simpler times. It reminds me of when I played Candy Land and watched teletubbies. It’s a fitting names for such quaint children’s apparel. This handmade apparel is designed for both fashion and function. With quality materials and expert skill, these precious pieces are made with best wishes for happy memories.
I tried knitting a blanket for Rowen once. I learned from youtube but mostly just winged it. It took me hours upon hours. It didn’t turn out well, although I was proud of my accomplishment. The blanket was lopsided and uneven. Even still, there was something satisfying about wrapping him in something I made with my own hands.
Ever since the blanket fiasco, I’ve decided to leave the knitting and sewing to the experts, and have been better off for it. I have also never respected and admired hand-made work more than I did after trying it. I love see people supporting creativity and skill. Especially when it comes to clothing babies!!
It gives me great pleasure to be a commercial photographer. It’s one of the reasons I love it so much. I get to enjoy and capture people’s hard work and passions. I get to help them, firsthand, to sell their products and anticipate their success. I’m investing in someone else’s dream. It feels good to be a part of it.
This time, it was children’s handmade apparel. If you ever need something precious to look at, take a trip over to The Blueberry Hill and see what you can find.
