Utah Wedding Reception Photography | Scott & Lori’s Red Butte Gardens Celebration
When it comes to Utah wedding reception photography, Scott and Lori’s celebration at Red Butte Gardens is one I’ll never forget. Full of love, laughter, and moments that brought tears to everyone’s eyes, their reception was the perfect blend of elegance, fun, and family connection.
After their sacred sealing at the Draper Temple and heartfelt ceremony at Red Butte Gardens, Scott and Lori transitioned straight into one of the most joy-filled receptions I’ve ever photographed. Every little detail was beautifully thought out, and thanks to the incredible coordination by the team at Life is a Party, the entire evening flowed seamlessly.

The atmosphere was full of warmth from the moment guests arrived. Tables were set beneath the garden lights, and the air was filled with the scent of summer blooms. Loved ones gathered with wide smiles and full hearts, ready to celebrate Scott and Lori’s new beginning.
And then came the toasts. Oh my heart—there wasn’t a dry eye in the garden. Scott’s sweet granddaughter stood up first, followed by Lori’s brother and Scott’s son. Each speech shared stories of love, growth, and admiration. You could see Lori wiping away happy tears, Scott beaming with pride. These weren’t just speeches—they were love letters from the people who know them best.
Dessert was a total hit—Momo Gourmet Cheesecakes knocked it out of the park with their signature treats. Guests couldn’t stop raving about them (and yes, I may have had one… or two… 😄). It was such a fun, unexpected twist on traditional wedding cake and suited the couple’s relaxed, fun vibe perfectly.

The Perfect End to a Perfect Day
Of course, no celebration is complete without dancing, and thanks to DJ Orlandis, the dance floor stayed full all night long. Guests of every age jumped in—laughing, spinning, and soaking in every second. Watching Scott and Lori dance together, surrounded by friends and family cheering them on, was a highlight of the night.
As the evening came to a close, Scott and Lori made their grand exit with a bubble sendoff that was pure magic. Bubbles floated through the garden lights, guests clapped and cheered, and the couple walked hand-in-hand into their new forever. It was lighthearted, joyful, and the perfect end to a truly meaningful day.
This reception was a beautiful reminder of why I love wedding photography so much. It’s not just about the flowers or the dresses—it’s about people. Their connections, their stories, and the once-in-a-lifetime energy that fills the room when everyone comes together to celebrate love.
