Tunnel Springs Bountiful

I don’t often have many firsts as a photographer these days, but these are my first summer Tunnel Springs engagements! These guys were the perfect people to take to Tunnel Springs. I met Kenzie years ago at two of her friends weddings! I’ve enjoyed getting to know her over the years and I’ve LOVED getting to cheer her and Andres on while they were dating. I love these two and their love. Their story is different than most and I’m excited for you to hear it!

Kenzie shared their “How they met and their first date stories” with me and they are too cute! “We were both working at Dicks Sporting Goods and I had a massive crush on him for like 2 YEARS! He tells me now that he always thought I was cute and had a crush on me but thought that I was out of his league so he never went for it. Well after 2 years of flirting and of all of our coworkers telling us that we needed to date, he FINALLY asked me out! We’ve basically been inseparable ever since.”

“Some of our friends were meeting up later at night to go bowling and he and I were both going. He messaged me earlier in the day and asked me if I wanted to go and get ice cream before we met up with our friends! So he picked me up and we got ice cream and talked, and after bowling with our friends he drove me home and we sat and talked in his car till 6 AM!”

They got engaged a week before our shoot! They had a big family party planned with both their families. It was on the schedule for months and so it was the perfect cover for the proposal. They had tons of people there but towards the end of the night Kenzie was told to head outside real quick. When she went out there she found Andres waiting with lights and rose petals! Their entire families were there and got to congratulate them on their proposal! Sooo perfect!

We headed up to Tunnel Springs for engagements and I don’t think they could have picked better outfits for the location! Kenzie’s best friend did her makeup and she looked stunning. Her dress is from Called to Surf! I loved getting to joke with Kenzie and Andres and I’m pretty sure Kenzie’s laugh is as pretty as a song. These two just fit so well together. You can just feel their love and their best friendship! They have already waded through some pretty hard life turns together and come out stronger for it. It was the perfect evening with the perfect couple! I’m sooo excited for you to see these amazing photos! Enjoy!
