One Year Ago
On January 10, 2012, I wrote a blog called “Feeling Inspired.”: ”Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” It’s time for me to start taking risks and putting myself out there. I’m re-branding and reconstructing the fundamentals of my business. Also, I’m looking to expand my portfolio and opening up the doors to birth photography.”
In 2013, I took those huge risks. 2013 was incredibly challenging and overly busy. I pushed myself harder than ever before and grew faster as well.
Some major challenges / accomplishments:
- REBRAND // I rebranded my business…from the bottom up. New logo, colors, website, cards, style, and look.
- PUBLISHED // I sent in my first submission to a bride blog…and was published within 24 hours. I’ve been published in 14 publications online and in print nationally, locally and internationally.
- CONFIDENCE // I gained confidence. Then, I fully put myself out there in the community and now co-organize the Cache Valley Photographer Club and teach at Bridgerland Applied Technical College.
- BIRTH STORY // I shot my first birth story and loved it more than I even could imagine!!!
- BRIDAL FAIRE // I finally got a booth in the Utah Bridal Faire.
- FRIENDS // My clients have become my friends. I wish I could hang out with them every single day.
